15th December 2024 Tibetan Spaniels: rounding off the year in style, Zaya (aka Parloueve Make a Wish for Maursett) won the Minor Puppy bitch class at the Ladies Kennel Association Championship Show judged by breed specialist Ian Blackshaw.  So proud of this super little girl.
19th October 2024 Tibetan Spaniels: the Tibetan Spaniel Association Champion show, judged by Ian Prentice, saw Zaya (aka Parloueve Make a Wish for Maursett)once again winnin her Baby Puppy bitch class.  Onwards and upwards for this "stunning" (not our words, but an experienced breeder said this to us at the show) little girl who is certainly making her mark in the Maursett household:

6th October 2024 Clumber Spaniels: Clumber Spaniel Club Championship Show.  Daughter Hannah Taylor judged the Special Classes at this show as she progresses up the judging ladder.
22nd September 2024 Tibetan Spaniels: Zaya (Parloueve Make a Wish for Maursett) wasat  South East & East Anglian Tibetan Spaniel Society's open show where Sally Pointon was judging the breed.  This was Zaya's debut in the show ring and she delighted us all by winning Baby Puppy Bitch and was then declared Best Baby Puppy in Show.  What a great start for her career.
14th September 2024 Clumber Spaniels: Graeme Underwood was judging the breed at Darlington championship show and awarded the Reserve Bitch CC to Gertie (Maursett Masikean).  Tibetan Spaniels: meanwhile, over in the Tibetan Spaniel ring, Rodri (Oldcharm Can You Love Me at Maursett), owned by daughter Hannah and her husband David, won the Junior Class.  He certainly is having a good run. It was also the opportunity for our own Tibetan Spaniel addition Zaya (aka Parloueve Make a Wish for Maursett) to have a run out as she is now four and half months old and attends her first show next Sunday.  Where does the time go?
4th August 2024 Clumber Spaniels:Colin Woodward awarded Gertie (Maursett Masikean) the Reserve Challenge Certificate at the Clumber Spaniel Club's Partnership show held in conjunction with National Gundog.
19th May 2024 Clumber Spaniels: Jane Howarth judged Clumbers at the Scottish Kennel Club's May Championship show.  Gertie (Maursett Masikean) won the Limit Bitch class and then delighted us by winning the Bitch CC. 
16th May 2024 Tibetan Spaniels: off to the Scottish Kennel Club Championship (May) show in Edinburgh, where Miss H Breeze was the judge.  She gave Rodri (Oldcharm Can You Love Me at Maursett), owned by daughter Hannah and her husband David, Minor Puppy dog followed by Best Dog Puppy.  
11th May 2024 Tibetan Spaniels: Mr Guy Hazlehurst was the Tibetan Spaniel judge with CCs at Birmingham National.  Rodri (Oldcharm Can You Love Me at Maursett), owned by daughter Hannah and David, once again proved his quality by winning the Minor Puppy dog class and then Best Puppy in Breed. 
9th May 2024 Clumber Spaniels: Gertie (Maursett Masikean) won Limit Bitch and then was awarded the Reserve Challenge Certificate by judge Eunice King.
28th April 2024 Tibetan Spaniels: Mr Tim Ball judged the breed with CCs at WELKS Championship Show.  He gave Rodri (Oldcharm Can You Love Me at Maursett), owned by daughter Hannah and her husband David, first place in Minor Puppy dog followed by the Best Puppy in Breed award. 
6th April 2024 Tibetan Spaniels: The Tibetan Spaniel Association championship show was judged by Daniel Roberts. He awarded Rodri (Oldcharm Can You Love Me at Maursett) second in a strong minor puppy dog class. What a great start to his show career - we are so proud of the little fellow with the big personality.
17th March 2024 Tibetan Spaniels: Rodri (Oldcharm Can You Love Me at Maursett) made his show debut at the Whitehaven & District Canine Association open show, judged by Mason Thorne. Rodri did the Maursett Mob proud wining Best Puppy in Breed and then going on to win Puppy Group 4. This dog has certainly made his mark and is a wonderful character to have around the place.
8th March 2024 Clumber Spaniels: Crufts Championship.  Last year, Gertie (Maursett Masikean) won the Best Puppy in breed award at Crufts and this year she won the Limit Bitch class and was awarded the Reserve Bitch Challenge Certificate. Marnie (Sh Ch Maursett Marnie) was third in a good sized Open Bitch class.  It was good day all round for Maursett breeding, which was lovely to see.  Dogs bred by us, or sired by Mathos (Sh Ch Maursett Mathos JW), or out of bitches bred by us gaining: Best of Breed, Reserve Dog Challenge Certicate, Reserve Bitch Challenge Certificate, five firsts, two seconds, four thirds and three fourth places.  Our judge for Crufts this year was breed specialist Ian Layfield.
21st January 2024 Clumber Spaniels: Manchester Championship show saw Gertie (Maursett Masikean) win the Limit Clumber Bitch class under judge Gordon Haran.
14th January 2024 Clumber Spaniels: Blake Crocker judged Clumbers at Goyt Valley Gundog Society's Open Show, where both and Gertie (Maursett Masikean) won their classes, with Marnie taking Best of Breed.  Unfortunately, we could not stay for Best in Show.
