8th December 2019 - Clumber Spaniels: Mercy (Maursett Mercy) wins Best AVNSC Gundog and then Gundog Group 2 at Bridlington & DIstrict Canine Society's open show, judged by experienced all round judge, Nicola Spencer (Bannonbrig). Meanwhile, another Maursett youngster, Maursett Malfoy, was placed 5th in a large AVNSC Gundog puppy class at the tender age of 6 months.

16th October 2019 - Clumber Spaniels: Mercy (Maursett Mercy) wins the Clumber Spaniel Junior Bitch class at the Gundog Society of Wales' Championship Show.

11th October 2019 - Clumber Spaniels: South Wales Kennel Association's Championship Show saw Mr Gordon Haran judging the breed.  We were delighted when he awarded Mathos (Sh Ch Maursett Mathos JW) the Dog CC, having won the Open Dog class.  Meanwhile, following on from her success at Darlington, Mercy (Maursett Mercy) then won the Junior Bitch class and the Reserve Bitch CC, gaining her Stud Book number just a few days out of puppy.  It certainly made the long journey in torrential rain worth the while. 

25th September 2019 - Clumber Spaniels: Mercy (Maursett Mercy) wins Clumber Spaniel Puppy Bitch and Best Puppy in Breed at Darlington Championship Show judged by Dr Ron James.

She went on to be shortlisted in the Gundog Puppy group by judge Mr Frank Whyte. 

29th June 2019 - Clumber Spaniels: Mercy (Maursett Mercy) wins the Best Puppy in Breed award at Windsor Championship Show, qualifying for Crufts at her first attempt.

26th May 2019 - Clumber Spaniels: a good day out for the Maursett Mob at North Riding Gundog Club's Open Show, where Mathos (Sh Ch Maursett Mathos JW) wins Best of Breed Clumber Spaniel and is shortlisted in the BIS line up.  Meanwhile, kennel mate and show debutante Maursett Mercy (Mercy to her friends) goes Reserve Best of Breed, Best Puppy in Breed and Best Puppy in Show 3.  The breed was judged today by Gavin Robertson (Soletrader) and the Best in Show/BPIS by Mrs Jane Cule (Mordax).

24th May 2019 - Clumber Spaniels: Maureen awards CCs in Clumber Spaniels at Bath Championship Show.  She awarded the dog CC (an all important third) and Best of Breed to  Steele's Stonielea Just William, with the Reserve Dog CC to Hirst's Creeaark Atreyu.  The Bitch CC went to Wilson's Sh Ch Anbrook Fair Maid Of Kent By Winhampton and the Reserve Bitch CC to Sheppard's Whissgig Wintersaga.  Best Puppy was the Kirkman's Wymeswold Butterscott at Kirkara (Imp NLD).

3rd May 2019 - Clumber Spaniels: Mathos (Sh Ch Maursett Mathos JW) wins Best of Breed Clumber Spaniel, while Maursett Mhairi - owned by Rachel and Garfy Cannell - is awarded Best Puppy in Breed (judged by Sue Graves) at Border Counties Gundog Club's Open Show:

7th March 2019 - Clumber Spaniels: Mathos (Sh Ch Maursett Mathos JW) wins the Junior Dog Clumber Spaniel class at Crufts Championship Show.

8th February 2019 - Clumber Spaniels: the Certificate for the British Veterinary Association/Kennel Club Hip Score scheme arrived for Mathos (Sh Ch Maursett Mathos JW) today.  His score is 7 / 8 = 15. This is just one more point than his litter sister, Maursett Marilla at Stonielea, owned by Lyndsey & Paddy Steele, who was 7 / 7 = 14. The good news just keeps on coming for that fantastic litter that we are hugely proud of. 

5th February 2019 - Clumber Spaniels: a special day for Mathos (Sh Ch Maursett Mathos JW) who, subject to Kennel Club confirmation, picked up the final point he needed for his Junior Warrant, winning the Open Clumber Spaniel Class & BOB at Darlington & District Canine Society Open Show, judged by Jane Pop.  His kennel mate, Maeve (Sh Ch Mischievous Maeve With Maursett) was second in the Open class. Due to the snow, we had to return home before the group was judged.
