26th October 2014 - Clumber Spaniels: a return to the showring after her recent litter saw Tilda (Maursett Matilda) win the Open class and then Best of Breed at Yorkshire Gundog Club's Open Show.  Thanks to our judge Peter Dowson.

15th October 2014 - Clumber Spaniels: a fabulous day out for the Maursett Mob as we see Clyde (Maursett Murtagh at Eilandon), owned by Gordon and Eileen Sutherland, win the Dog CC at Gundog Society of Wales:

Meanwhile, more good news over at the German Wirehaired Pointer ring as Fizz's granddaughter (Normbar UpsyDaisy) took the Bitch CC (her second) and Best of Breed under udge Sandra Marshall at the same show.

12th October 2014 Irish Water Spaniels: Maureen & Tony both successfully complete and pass the Irish Water Spaniel Association A3 Seminar.  A throughly enjoyable and very well presented seminar.

5th October 2014 - Clumber Spaniels: The Stig  (Jubilwell Riff Raff for Maursett) wins Veteran Dog, whilst Beatrice took the Graduate Bitch class at the Clumber Spaniel Club's championship show at Crick, which was judged by Michelle Meredith.

1st June 2014 - Clumber Spaniels: Ripon & District Canine Society saw Peter Darby (Dargess) taking centre stage judging the Clumber Classes.  A good day for the Maursetts as The Stig  (Jubilwell Riff Raff for Maursett) won the Open class and then Best of Breed, whilst Beatrice - Cape Lewisport Make a Wish for Maursett (Imp Bel) - won her first outing into a Post Graduate breed class at the same show. 

10th May 2014 - Clumber Spaniels: Birmingham National Championship show saw more congratulations going to Eileen & Gordon Sutherland, who won the Res Dog CC with Clyde (Maursett Murtagh at Eilandon);  meanwhile, in the bitches classes, Beatrice - Cape Lewisport Make a Wish for Maursett (Imp Bel) also won the Junior class. 

5th May 2014 - Clumber Spaniels: congratulations to Eileen and Gordon Sutherland who won Best of Breed Clumber Spaniel with Maursett Murtagh at Eilandon (well done Clyde) at the Border Counties Gundog Club Open Show.   Beatrice - Cape Lewisport Make a Wish for Maursett (Imp Bel)  was Best Clumber Spaniel Puppy having won the Junior and Graduate Clumber Spaniel classes. 

19th April 2014: - Clumber Spaniels:  all rounder Ruth Martin awarded Beatrice - Cape Lewisport Make a Wish for Maursett (Imp Bel) - first place in the Junior Clumber Spaniel Class at United Spaniel Club's Open Show.

6th April 2014 - Clumber Spaniels: good day out for the Maursett mob at the Clumber Spaniel Club Open Show, with Beatrice - Cape Lewisport Make a Wish for Maursett (Imp Bel) - winning Junior Bitch, Novice Bitch and 2nd in Puppy, along with the Stig (Jubilwell Riff Raff for Maursett) winning the Stud Dog class.  Congratulations also to Clyde (Maursett Murtagh at Eilandon) owned by Eileen and Gordon Sutherland who won the Limit Dog class.

9th February 2014 - Clumber Spaniels: breed specialist judge, Lee Cox, awarded Beatrice - Cape Lewisport Make a Wish for Maursett (Imp Bel)  - second in the Special Puppy Bitch class at Crufts 2014.  Not bad for only her second championship show!

8th February 2014 - Clumber Spaniels: congratulations to Gordon & Eileen Sutherland with Clyde (Maursett Murtagh at Eilandon) who went Gundog  Group 1 (judge Mr Nigel Worth) and then Reserve Best in Show (judge Mr Tony Moran) at the Rutherglen Canine Club's Valentine Open Show. 

1st February 2014 - Clumber Spaniels: Beatrice (Cape Lewisporte Make a Wish for Maursett IMP BEL) wins  Post Graduate and Best Puppy, whilst The Stig (Jubilwell Riff Raff for Maursett) matched her in the Open Class before being awarded as Best of Breed, to end a very satisfactory outing to the Darlington & District Canine Society's Open Show.

26th January 2014 - Clumber Spaniels: Beatrice, our young debutante from Belgium (Cape Lewisporte Make a Wish for Maursett IMP BEL) took the Best Puppy in Breed award at Border Counties Gundog Open Show, under breed specialist Tom Isherwood.  To add to the success, kennel mate (ok, housemate) Tilda (Maursett Matilda) won her class.  We left as the snow began to fall and had an interesting journey back watching the high ground turning a distinctly white colour.

19th January 2014 - Clumber Spaniels: Beatrice, our debutante from Belgium (Cape Lewisporte Make a Wish for Maursett Imp Bel) started her show career off in style, winning the Puppy Bitch class and qualifying for Crufts, whilst another Maursett Clumber, Eileen & Gordon Sutherland's Maursett Murtagh at Eilandon (aka Clyde), won the Limit Dog class - well done Clyde, Eileen and Gordon.
