30th August 2013 - Clumber Spaniels: a bad month for the Maursett household continues as we say a sad goodbye to Veena (Maursett Morveena) mother of Mamile who we lost just a couple of weeks ago.. Run free with Mamile, Veena. The house is strange without you. RIP Veena.
12th August 2013 - Clumber Spaniels: "glorious 12th" for some, but sadness in the Maursett household as we had to say goodbye to Mamile (Maursett Mamile). Mamile had gained a CC and was 10 at the time of her passing and was, right until the end, very much in charge. We will all miss her. RIP Mamile.
10th August 2013 - Clumber Spaniels: congratulations to Eileen and Gordon Sutherland who took Group 2 at Tayside & Lochee with Clyde (Maursett Murtagh at Eilandon).

July 2013 - Clumber Spaniels: Leeds Championship Show
sees Walter Lucas (Lubyrnetyre) judging the Clumber Spaniels
and he awarded the Bitch CC to Lyndsey & Gerry Steele's
Maursett Morna at Stonielea.
22nd June 2013 - Basset Hounds: Lil (Barembak Thea To Maursett) goes to Blackpool Championship Show, where the Basset Hounds were being judged by Andrew Brace. Lil won her Junior class and qualified for Crufts!
9th June 2013 - Basset Hounds: Lil (Barembak Thea To Maursett) makes a good start to her Championship Show career, being placed in a large Puppy class and then winning the Novice Bitch award at the Basset Hound Club show. A lovely day all round!
26th April 2013 - Clumber Spaniels: Tilda (Maursett Matilda) makes a return to the show ring after over a year and wins the limit bitch class, under breed specialist Gina Bowers, and then takes the Reserve CC at WELKS Championship Show. Not a bad return to showing.
