Maureen is convinced that Tony had been scheming away for months on the "project" which would ultimately see Lil (Barembak Thea) join the Maursett Mob. 

Lil's breeder, Alan Mease, had been teasing Maureen at show after show about the "arrangement" and how the little Basset would find her way to join the Maursetts;  so it was a surprise when Alan called - in all seriousness - and offered this beautiful girl to us.  We were delighted to accept.  She walked into the house and our lives as though she had been here all the time.

She has even been allowed to help her Clumber friend, Ethel (Maursett Melisent), collect spoons!
